D.Stop is a formation founded in september 1981, and originally dedcated to a kind of "modern punk rock". Sonny Brailleur (vocals) + Phil Lethon (guitar/bass) + Klod Lelook (organ, synths, drum-machines) funny enough first filmed a video-clip, before they actually recorded their first 7" single. After their first 7", the band stylistically transformed into a more "techno punk" kind of outfit and released their first mini-album "Nouvelles du Front" in September 1983. Despite the very few releases by this gifted act, D.Stop are considered to be one of the most interesting and under-rated cult acts in French "Cold Wave" and this collection of all official releases + bonus-material, offers a deep insight on this short-living but high quality project. The bonus-DVD finally includes the two videoclips by the band, 3 professionally filmed live performances, 1 super 8 live extract, photos, documents and biography of the band.
