Musically Paul Roland's songs are rooted in Gothic rock, Psychpop, Neo-Folk and baroque instrumentation. Paul Roland retired from making music between 1996 and 2004, but with "Nevermore", he now presents his 14th studio album. The CD features a fine selection of songs in a variety of styles from seafaring folk to psych-pop and more whimsical fantasy this time inspired by Poe and Jules Verne. The album also contains a three song cinematic soundtrack.
