have caused quite a stir in clubs due to songs like 'Nachthexen', 'DN38416' or 'Legion'. The symbiosis between pounding electronic beats, spheric strings and elaborated synth melodies has become the bands distinctive style by now. The two legionnaires
are steadily developing this style.
For November 11th, 2011 Re:Legion
announced the release of their third studio album, the double disc '11.11.11'. The concept behind this title is more than just the release date: Disc 1 contains 11 new and unreleased songs, which reflect the diverse spectrum of the band. Songs like 'War:dance' or 'Zom:beat' are predestined for the dancefloors of the clubs. Re:Legion
once more underline their musical affinity for synthie pop with 'Sentinel' and 'Bored 2011'. 'War of Babylon' and 'Gigantoanie', the CDs only track with German lyrics, turn out to be two downright end time tracks. 'Sea:cret', dreamy and the first song with female guest vocals, and 'En:trance', a balancing act between melodic and underground synths, once more reveal the trance elements characteristic of Re:Legion
Disc 2 consists of 11 remixes of all three Re:Legion
albums, which have been released so far. Remixes of the bands Chrom
, The Dark Unspoken
, and T3RR0R 3RR0R
could be won for this intent. Furthermore, Re:Legion
themselves put their hand on some of their previous material.
