Castle Party is the biggest independent music festival in central-eastern Europe, taking place annually since 1993. Each edition of the festival gathers world independent scene`s most important stars and promising young artists coming from Western European countries, Slovakia, USA, Japan, but also from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia. Castle Party gained international fame not only for its unique musical character, but also for its visual attractions which are an intergral part of the event. The festival is also an important event on the avantgarde fashion scene. An international character of the festival is confirmed by the crowds coming from Germany, Czech, France, Sweden, Russia, Ukraine but also distant parts of the world such as the USA or Brazil. The concerts take place on the big courtyard of the Bolkow castle. When the concerts are over, there are numerous after parties in town clubs with DJ`s and sound systems from around the world. The compilation 2009 presents some well known and young artists which will be performing this year at the festival.
