The German/British trio V2A was created in 2002 by Kevin Stewart and Ines Lehmann, and joined in 2005 by live drummer Matt Hawkes, now an official member as well. V2A have been a high rated combatant of the international electronic scene for many years and have a large following all over the world. V2A got off to a rather rocky start, due to their affection for hard electro sounds, and the fact that this clashed somewhat with what the label industry wanted to sell.
