Dade City Days - VHS CD

In the echo of late Nineties London rave culture, and in the midst of the New York based new wave and the shoegaze revival, singing in an Italian which even a native would find hard to decipher: this is the space where Dade City Days want to belong. Formed in Bologna, Italy, in 2013, Dade City Days shared the stage with artists like The Raveonettes, Modern English, The Soft Moon, Fluon, Vanity. The band gained a very favourable reception from the audience and qualified first at the JamBO Live contest. Working with Luca Urbani (Soerba, Fluon), they also recorded an original cover of Type O Negative's "She burned Me down" for a tribute compilation released by Darkitalia. In 2015, Dade City Days composed the music for the special features for the movie "La Linea Gialla - Bologna, 2 Agosto", produced by national newspaper La Repubblica and Movie Movie, to remember the 35th anniversary of the Bologna massacre. At the same time, the band entered the studio with artistic producer Lorenzo Montanà (Tying Tiffany) to produce this their first album "VHS"!
