Plasmodium - Paradise Under Fire CD

It's the debut album on Caustic Records by this Spanish project, that has been many years working quietly within the darker electro-industrial field. With this first work, they created a formula that pursues the attempt, to serve as a bridge between two main currents in the Dark EBM genre, focussing on one hand in the style of the 90ies, but without ignoring sounds and structures that are more based in the early, emerging Dark Electro trends. The result is a kind of sonic virus, extremely powerful, deadly and corrosive that manifests influences from bands such as Suicide Commando, Velvet Acid Christ, E-Craft, Leaether Strip or Wumpscut. The unique version of making dark electronics sounds, makes "Paradise Under Fire" a positively shocking experience, recommended for all fans of goods dark EBM and reached heights of superb quality with truly impressive tracks such as "Be unclean-Stay impure", "Rise," "Life as Slave" or the epic final song of the album "Mi Vida se Apaga parte II" - all of which turn out to be real anthems for the dancefloor. In addition, Plasmodivm explores sounds and atmospheres closed to bands such as Mortal Constraint or (the first album by) Polygon in cuts like "Fade Away" or "Embrace my Fear", in which they reach remarkable results by the use of samples and skillfully crafted sound design.
